Has anyone done a custom lip color on their rims before? I want to get a good set of wheels for my C but I want the lip to be yellow (like my calipers & everything else in my car). Is this something that a company will do custom with their rims or will this be an aftermarket thought? I've seen some rims with colored hubs but they look terrible and they're ugly as crap rims. I'm just looking for a little yellow ring on a black/gunmetal wheel.

Are you looking to have this done on an oem style wheel? I would suggest having it done in vinyl or plastidip first, this way if you hate it, you can remove it.
Not gonna lie, I think it will look lousy. Your car is sick as it sits, I think adding this will cheapen the look of your car.

Not OEM, no. But i'm looking like that black/green RENNTECH SLS. I think it looks sick on that car, that's kind of why I was seeing what was out there. The ones I've seen so far are horrible. I'm looking for a very little amount of yellow. An accent over a major color.

You want a black and green SLS with yellow calipers and wheels? That sounds off-putting haha (just my opinion so doqesn't mean anything)...but sounds almost like a Rasta car...ad some red and a marley sticker and you're good to go!

Marley actually used to drive a Benz!

No no, i want my car to be BLACK & YELLOW but the reference i'm making is the BLACK & GREEN SLS that renntech did.

I liked the idea of doing black rims with 1 yellow spoke, an idea SupremePower sent me.

I'm just trying to mix things up, be different.

Papashango, yea i have yellow calipers and the interior trim is all yellow-kevlar/carbonfiber weave. It's sick as ****. The guys at oCarbon hooked me the **** up. I want them to do the yellow/CF on my steering wheel and i was toying with the idea of doing it for the side view mirror covers. I dunno though.

AS you can tell, i'm very much an experimental kind of person when it comes to asthetics

Everything. All the wood is replaced with this yellow/cf stuff. Even the cup holder. I'll post some pics in a second. I'm drinking at a brewery currently. :P
