EBAY - Gloss Grill - Anyone have experience?

Good Friday afternoon - Safe to say I have come down with a bug, mod bug to be certain.

DEPO Projectors, to replace the crap halogens (detailed pics to come later)
DEPO Clear side markers
H&R spacers
AMG Door pins
Tint & clear bra next weekend
Gloss black badges
Working on an appointment at Weistec for the P1 + Oil Catch

Next up - The grill. After much searching, I have not found anyone who has purchased this particular grill.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/151300665256

Anyone had any experience? Worth it? Other options?

Oh....FL, 2013.

Thanks all!

The grill in the Ebay ad fits 08-11 pre-FL C63's. It will not fit on a 12-14 FL C63.

Nice little mod list you got going there. Can't wait to see the final outcome. You should do a writeup on the headlights swap, I'm sure a lot here would love to do it.

Thx! The wish list is of course much longer, but I'm being realistic for now. When they say "you have to pay to play" that aint no joke!

Ill post up the headlight swap later this weekend. Cutting out early from the office to get it going tonight.

This and that.
Plus looks like that grille doesn't have a top bar in gloss black either?

@silversun, I bought a similar gloss black grille for my w204 just a few weeks ago:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/221718877971?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
Install was so simple, quality is excellent and fitment was no problem. No discernable difference in quality vs. OEM.

Hi,

Looks like this particular grille doesn't fit the 2013 C63. I'll keep looking. Would sure be easier than dipping it.

Cheers,

Howie

Another alternative is to have your grille vinyl wrapped. I had mine done in gloss black and have had no issues and its a lot cheaper than buying an aftermarket ebay grille that might not properly fit.

Spend $10 on some vinyl wrap. Have a practice then wrap your grill. That's what I did.

I have no experience with the wrap. How difficult is it to remove it later if you wanted to go back?

Very easy. Just peel it off.

Nice mod list, OP! I wonder if you are getting those 200 dollar door pics!
I was on the lookout for a gloss black grill as well but then gave up the search and plastidipped it instead along with a coat of glossifier. Came out good but I will still jump on a mint gloss black grille if I come across one.

I think it's mad that there are loads of companies selling a C63 "style" gloss black grill to fit every C class apart from the C63 !!
