H&R lowering spring with pads

Hi, installed H&R Lowering spring with 17mm pads, and not happy with rear, compare to the front, it's too high. I have 2012 coupe with pp, and why looks so weird. my car comes with 17mm pad, someone can tell me the parts no. of 13mm pads?

I doubt ur car came with 17mm pads oem. As far as I know, we all have 13mm pads unless u bought the car used & the previous owner did some suspension work.

With that being said, I think both parts # are in the sticky or search for superbubblicity thread.

thank you, i think previous owner may change it to 17mm, i was thinking another 5mm drop won't help, i will stay with 17mm.

Yeah, I'm using the thicker pads & love the look. It also saved me from rubbing after going wider tires &/or adding spacers to my oem wheels.

Something is definitely not installed correctly or u have more than 17mm spring pads in the rear. Mine sits even front & rear.

Did u buy Benson wheels? U must be from Toronto. Lol

Strange, looks like the pads are not sitting properly. Is it high on both sides?

Well ask ur installed to double check everything cuz it shouldn't sit that high. U can search for pics of members with 17mm pads, they are pretty even. 13mm the car sits a tad lower in the rear.

Another thing I can think of is u got the wrong H&R springs ? What is the part # for the springs? And if u know the previous owner, ask why the car came with 17mm pads?

It's normal that driver rear is higher than passenger rear, our cars are built that way. What is not normal is the rake look regardless of 13mm or 17mm pads used.

Keep us updated.

It almost looks like you have 2 spring pads in the rear. That's way high. Are the springs indexed correctly? By that i mean do the grooves on the control arms match how the springs are sitting in them?

You might have a bad bushing? I would get it checked, I doubt it has anything to do with the H&R springs itself.

I guess I'll go back and have them take a look. Its only at low speeds that you hear it
