TERRIBLE 63 Dyno Numbers FULL BOLT ONS

I just got back from the dyno after doing MBH Longtubes, 200 cell Vibrant cats, 3" straight piped to the rear section (Res Delete), Eurocharged tune, and AFE air filters.

The car's first pull netted 419 whp, second pull made 429, and then 419. All pulls were about 380 ft-lbs. It was on a Dyno Dynamics, BUT IT RUNS A CORRECTION FACTOR TO MAKE IT +/- 5 WHP OF A DYNO JET. Please take my word on this. I operated one for several years.

On the same dyno a E55 with 180mm and tune made 450 whp and 500+ ft lbs. My CL55 made 430 whp and 440 ft lbs with primary cat delete, the same 200 cell cats, and a tune.

I am BEYOND pissed off right now. I know the re-tune from Eurocharged took because I no longer have a CEL for 02 sensors. The car has brand new plugs, burns no oil, and the oil stays completely clean. The engine is healthy. The car feels no different after all the work I have done. On the road it pulls just like a stock C63.

I don't know what else to do at this point. Why is my car missing 50 WHP??? I spent $5,000 dollars this month on these mods. Can someone with heavy tuning experience chime in?

Is the lack of X-pipe costing me 50 whp?

The part of that that puzzles me isn't the dyno numbers sometimes dyno runs just aren't great but saying it pulls like a stock c63? That's not quite right

Did you do any runs before the mods? Did you get an air fuel read?

If you have a copy of the dyno chart is send that off to ec to check

I did not dyno the car before. From my experience using a wide band after a catalytic converter skews numbers so bad its not worth using. I'm going to be contacting Eurocharged first thing Monday AM for some help. I may need a custom tune, and yes the car does not feel like it should.

I do have a copy of the chart, and video of they dyno I'm uploading now. It puts the power down smooth, but the power just isn't there. The install of the long tubes was a nightmare and now this.... Its beyond frustrating and gave me a fat migraine.

You should breaking 450+ with those mods I have heard stories of tunes not taking I think you Best bet is getting euro charged on the phone or looking at another tune

If you read though some threads you will come across people having issues with tunes

Good luck mate post back when you work out what the issue is

Why no Xpipe? All that work and money and you don't use an x pipe? Crazy

Is this about an E63 or a C63?

E63. I post in this part of the forum because a lot more C63 people mod their cars then E63 people. I can always add an x pipe. All my background is in turbo cars. NA is new to me. I talked to quite a few Vette and NA tuners and they said they have seen the X and H pipes go both ways power wise.

Oh it's cool it was just for my own curiosity. Dude an X pipe is not costing you 50 rwhp, it could cost you some in backpressure or at least that could be discussed. But I bet you may have a faulty MyGenius or the file is not loading correctly from Eurocharged. I have a Eurocharged C63 and with other bolt on mods and this car is pretty bad*ss. I've owned quite a few high hp cars in the past, these guys know their stuff. I'm sure their are people out their who can get more HP out of a tune but I bet they crack the ECU open and right now I like my warranty. Call them they will help you as much as they can to elmiate the ECU and I bet they might even try to trouble shoot other possibilities (that's just me talking not them).

When driving car any noticeable difference after mods? Try reflashing your tune.

After all the mods I have done the car doesn't feel any faster then the day I got it. I know at least part of the tune took with the MyGenius because the rear 02 sensors are ignored, but I really hope something has happened here. A guy with just long tubes and the X pipe made the exact same power I did. We have been p/ming each other recently.

I'm going to get with Jerry first thing tomorrow morning to figure out what is going on. Eurocharged has always been great to me in the past, and I'm sure they will continue to do so.

Just because that CEL isn't there doesn't mean the re-tune necessarily took.

My money is on the tune not taking and you have to work that out.

I never bought into dyno numbers as much as actual performance, my C63 with MBH headers and OE tune ran the 1/4 in 11.32 at 125.3mph weighing 4130lbs yet only showed around 415-420hp on a dyno.

The fact that your car doesn't feel any stronger is not good, should be a very very clear difference between stock and headers. If the install is right sounds like something off in the tuning.

I'm also thinking there is an issue with the MyGenius. Please understand I know that a number is not indicative of anything when it comes to actual performance. The car is slow. Period. There is no doubt about this. The numbers are just a reference point, but 420 whp on an uncorrected Mustang or a Dyno Dynamics with no correction factor is a real fast car all day long. Before we used the temperature cheat on the Dynamics where I used to work it would read 50 horsepower less then after. I'm comparing numbers to numbers on the same dyno, same temperature, same correction factor, and I have quarter mile times for both my CL and SL.

If I took this car to the track I would make a bet it would be a 12.6X car at 113 mph with a 1.8X 60 foot. Give or take a few tenths and 2 mph. I'll talk with Jerry tomorrow and see what is going on.
