30.5mpg or 9.26L/100km C63 507 Tuned with Headers

LOL - finally topped 30mpg (imperial) so about 26mpg US. Was motorway cruising around 100kph except when slower traffic made that impossible. Pump to pump so actual reading not dash reading.

Worst was 40L/100km on track day from town to track and back - thats 7mpg UK or 6mpg US

Anyone done better/worse?

I drove like an old lady once and squeezed out 19.4mpg (US) over the course of an entire tank. I've averaged 13.9mpg over the time I've owned it. Pretty sure my right foot is at fault.

21 mpg is the best I can do. That is in C mode and nearly all interstate driving

The best I've got was 10.1 litres per 100km on the open road, which would work out to 27.9 mpg imperial and 23.2 mpg US

The car is completely stock

I never trust European MPG numbers on any car. They are always inflated compared to US numbers.

I am averaging 17 mpg mixed city and highway over the course of the last 7.5k miles. Best I have seen is high 19s, all highway. Then again, I have never driven an entire tank at 100 kph. That's like 61 mph and I will fall asleep within the first 20 mins and crash into the guard rail.

I once did a 9.6 or 9.8L/100 doing 80kph on small roads. 9.2 has got to be a world record !

Pulled off 25.4mpg on a recent work trip I had to go on. Slow and steady across Alligator Alley. I was pretty impressed with myself and the car!

I've never gotten good mileage I don't look or measure it, just fill it up regularly. That said I think I need gas.

~20 MPG's is all I can get. And thats around 65 mph. Like some kind of water torture.

On a separate note, the fuel tanks in these cars is exceptionally small!!

Anybody know what the actual volume of fuel they hold? When I fill up its normally around 15 gallons us.

By my math, that means about 160 to 170 miles of city driving and right at 100 miles on the track?

The best I could every do from hwy gas station to another hwy gas station was around 22 mpgs. The actual pump math worked out to just over 21.4-ish.

lol. Just got 5mpg last track day.

To be fair - when I got 9.26L/100km the 40km trip went from 100m elevation to sea level so it was slightly downhill. Not enough to make a big difference but enough to help.

Best I managed when I was fully stock was a 10.7L/100km on a full drive from my house to work. I kept the engine under 2000rpm the whole time lol. Not bad! But I dont like driving like I own a prius.
