Review: Recently Installed RW Carbon BS Lip, DTM Spoiler, and Diffuser
After choosing and then installing RW Carbon products recently, I figured I'd share my experiences with others who might be interested.
Bottom Line: Matt over at RW Carbon is fantastic to work with, and I'm pretty happy with the quality of the products. Everything was as promised.
I chose RW Carbon over some of the other more known vendors primarily because of their willingness to post prices in the forum (https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...ing-new-2.html), the fact they had the items on hand, and the great communication from Matt.
I purchased the following for $1250 shipped:
Mercedes C63 Black Series Style Carbon Fiber Lip - mercw20410
Mercedes C63 AMG Big Fin Carbon Fiber Diffuser - mercw20409
Mercedes W204 DTM Style Carbon Fiber Trunk Spoiler - mercw20423
Review:
The front lip was easy to install, it simply slides in place and is affixed with 4-6 screws from underneath. Fitment is 9/10, as one side doesn't sit quite flush with the car (pic below). I could have added a screw to make it more flush, but I decided to leave it as is instead of making a screw visible.
The DTM spoiler sticks right over where the old spoiler was, and uses 3M tape. This is a great looking spoiler with no issues whatsoever. 10/10.
The rear diffuser fits nicely into the stock mounting positions via aluminum clips. It's a nice looking piece, but not perfect (although rarely is that true for anything aftermarket). I wish the clips were more heavy duty, the fitment isn't completely flush, and there's a definite loss in rigidity as compared to the OEM. It feels as though there should be a mounting point somewhere in the center, but there's not. Reading on the boards, it seems that, at least for the PF-C63s, there was a center bracket connected to the OEM diffuser. For whatever reason, that's not true, or at least on mine, for the 2012+. Overall, 8/10.

If only I saw this post sooner.
I dealt with Sonic Tuning...purchased the front lip and spoiler from them and they were the worst products I ever purchased from a vendor.
I'm now waiting to receive my lip and spoiler from RWCarbon. I'll be using the box I receive from them to ship back the other horrifying lip to Sonic Tuning. I've already sent back the spoiler. I was going to create a thread review on their products, but I'm waiting patiently for my refund first.

Looking Good! Strange about the diffuser brackets though. My car is the same as yours except for a coupe version and it definitely has two brackets on either side near the exhaust openings to help rigidity in the centre.

Kinda bummed to see that fitment on the front lip, I love how rwcarbon is open with pricing. But that fitment would definitely not be ok with me. Beautiful car though, that hood makes such a huge difference!

I had my lip installed at a body shop and it looks perfect to me, but its also screwed onto the bumper and has a layer of tape on top of the lip to ensure tight secure fit.

Using both double sided tape and screws will get it pretty close.
