2014 C63 507 edition price check

Hi guys,

Saw this one last night: 2014 C63 507 edition with only 8.5k miles, asking for 72k by a local dealer.

Here is the list of options:

E74/P61, the 507 package
051 designo Magno Platinum paint (matte finish)
299 Black leather/DINAMICA interior pack
H73 Carbon Fiber trim
255 AMG performance media
319 Lightning package
320 Multimedia package
471 LSD lock
889 Keyless

Carfax reports shows clean with just one owner. I'm thinking of something in the 65k range. Am I crazy?

Thanks!

I would agree.

I paid less than $75k that a few months back for a never pre-owned 2015 507 (in Canadian dollars, so around $60+k usd)

Except for the matte finish, I paid just under 60k for a similarly equipped 2014 507 edition about 6 weeks ago. It had 14k miles and was dealer certified.

It took me a couple months to get one in that range, but there have been at least four that I know of that have sold in that range this year.

Value is of course subjective, but I don't like overpaying for cars, even special ones.

If you negotiate well, you should be able to snag it under 60k

I think it's high. I just purchased a new 2015 C63 507 with all of the options you listed less the matte paint and carbon interior for $74,000. You should be able to negotiate into the mid to high 60s.

WOW! That is impressive. I just did a price check on nadaguides and according to the site, the invoice price is 82393. What's the trick to get extra 8k off from the invoice price?

Thanks in advance!

Here's the price I pulled from nada.

Destination $925 $925
Total Base Price $59,515 $63,925

Be willing to buy another car that suits your needs. Let them know you are looking for a RWD performance coupe, and that the C63 507 is not your only option.

Rather than just walking away, have them understand what you are looking for.

The MSRP of my car was $82,375. I believe the lighting package on the 15 coupe is included (it's not even listed on the MBUSA site as an option). The black interior/Dinamica should be included unless you are opting for an all leather package. I also passed on the AMG performance system. That's roughly a 6000 difference off of your MSRP quote.

As far as the deal they were offering $2500 off 15 C-Class coupes. I had three dealers that kept offering me percentage points below discount. Every time I informed a dealer I was going to buy the car somewhere else they offered a better deal. In the end I went the best deal.
