Best Tires for C63 Black?
Was looking on tire rack for replacement tires and didn't see any Michelin Super Sports or Sport Cup 2's for this car? Is there another size I can put on or which tires do you guys recommend for street/track use?

I just put on Continental ExtremeContact™ DW and they are as good as PSS imo, possibly better in the rain. Downgrade from Rcomps obviously, but a very good tire. I put on stock sizes 255,285

You can get Michelin Sport Cup 2s in 255/35/19 and 295/30/19. Load bearing capacity is fine, the rear rim is a bit on the skinny side for 295, but will work.

I ended up buying new wheels to fit the 295's out back properly, and that fixed the transition problem. I then moved to the 265's out front, which dialed out the mid speed understeer, but the car still didn't feel nimble. Felt like it needed more steering effort to get the turn-in bite that the OEM Dunlops had. I ended up spending a few days reworking the alignment (mostly toe changes F/R) to get the car to feel sharper during turn-in without killing me in the high speed corners.
YMMV.

I wasn't a fan of that size setup at all with PSS's on the OEM wheels. The rear felt bouncy through transitions, and the car developed some understeer in mid speed corners. The car stopped feeling nimble and driving confidence dropped.

The PSS are known for having soft sidewalls. I am curious whether the PSC2s are like that too or different. Would PSC2s have had that bounciness too, or not (given the slightly narrow 9.5 inch rim)?
We'll never know unless someone tries.
I will be putting 305 PSC2s on a 10 inch rim next week. That will be the equivalent situation. I'll take it to NCM on July 11 and will know more after that.
Suspense.... :-)

I run 36psi hot on the street, and 40psi hot for track. Anything higher than 36psi and the car becomes unstable over rough surfaces with the way I have the alignment setup.
