Another one about the P30 package and brakes

So, its getting about time for me to change the brakes front and back on my 2008 with P30 package. I have two questions.

Are the rear brake pads on P30 the same as base model. When I search for parts I never see a distinction between P30 and base. Whereas, I do with the fronts. If different, please provide a source other than the dealer.

Second, can just the outer disc be replaced on the two piece rotors instead of buying the whole thing? I don't see them listed separately anywhere.

You can always go to one piece rotors as well if cost is of concern.

The one piece front rotors weigh 20% more, but are $150 vs. $900 a piece for the p30 two piece rotors. For just a street car I doubt you will see any difference.

The Porterfield R4S are a popular replacement brake pad choice as well.

Emphasis on street car. If you really never hit the track and roll around town one piece is the way to go.

Yea, I don't do track. Thanks for the responses. I won't look as cool, but one piece is the way to go.
