FS: H&R Coilovers
For sale a set of H&R Coilovers in great condition. Has approximately 20K miles on them. Removed to upgrade to KW Variant 3's. I am located in the CA, Bay Area. Asking $550.

I am Bay Area local (Oakland) - do these fit a C63 coupe? i have H&R spring on my coupe and they ride harsher than I would prefer. I'm interested in getting your impressions of these coils and how they would compare to simply springs as far as handling/drop/comfort are concerned. I've been contemplating coils for sometime but just hadn't been sure if the cost/benefit was there.

They will fit the coupe. I bought my H&R's from an owner who had them on his Coupe. I installed them on my 20101 Sedan.

Yes they will fit on the coupe.
BUT they are not designed for the coupe and the dampening is wrong. I did some research on this a while back and the reps I talked to said they would fit but they are not set correctly to work right in the coupe. They are intended for the sedan and that is also the way H&R web site is set to display. If you search c63 coupe only the springs come up. If you search sedan the struts will display.

Thanks, Eric. This is good to know...I wonder what coupe owners who are running them are experiencing.

The spring rates on the coupe are a bit softer compared to the sedan, nothing major.
