08 c63. Do these cars come with lsd factory or open diff. Or a mixture ? I been seeing a lot of post about installing them. But when I do a burnout. I leave 2 huge black marks lol. Could I have factory lsd?

To answer your question, they could come with or without LSD until the 2015 sedan and not yet released 2016 coupe. For these LSD is standard equipment with the AMG.

There are vin lookups that provide build sheets for each car. With that info you could determine if yours came with it but it won't tell you if it was later installed.

According to the owners manual, yes the 08 came with LSD.
However, if you do a VIN lookup, the code is not there. Does that mean anything? They may not have created a code for it at that time. Only way to know for sure is to pull the cover. P30/P31 were not options in 08.

I expect there is open diff design LSD in it like what comes in mustangs, camaros, etc. These have clutch packs that reside under the left side spider gear that lock the LH wheel using friction once the right tire slips a bit. Not an enclosed mechanical LSD like a wavetrac or quaife.
However if that is true, it is one tightly shimmed clutch pack because my 08 will kill both rears simultaneously.
