Trade my C63 507 Coupe for an E63 Wagon??
I've always liked the AMG wagon, and hate leaving my C in the garage all winter long (I know it's mid summer right now, but I like being ahead of the curve). I already have a 2012 E550 4m with the turbo v8, so I don't want another sedan, but a wagon might give me another body style choice, and something fun to drive year round. I also have a Ram 1500 Laramie 4x4, and have never been an SUV fan.
Will I have fun tossing the big wagon around, or will I miss my coupe? I like the instant power delivery of the M156 / MTC in the C63 a lot more than my M278/7g in the E550, but figure the E63 M157 / MTC should be better performance wise. Love to hear some opinions on this.

The E63 S's MCT shifts quicker than the C63's transmission. When I drove an E63 S sedan it felt a little quicker than the P31 C63 I drove.
They're both fast cars for what they do (especially that wagon) but it's ultimately up to you. I love wagons as well but I think I would stick with the 507. The M156 is a champ! It's just so hard to find the right C63!!

I agree, that's what I think makes each one so special.
Tons of love for the wagon and lots wish they offered it in the states. I also see so many threads and have talked to lots of previous C63 owners who regret selling their beast. You could jump on the bandwagon and own a special wagon that some can't enjoy, but I do think you will miss the 507 after a bit.

I also think the 507 is the best all-around C63. It has some of the Black Series goodies, 500+ HP and great looks exterior/interior without the Black Series price tag.

Based on what you already have I'd keep the c63. Ride the c out for a while and see what is happening in the world in 2017. You already have a 550 4m which is sweet and then you have the truck.
I feel like you'd be missing the sporty coupe life relatively quickly and wonder to yourself why you have two e-classes. If I were you, I'd wait and see what the w205 c-coupe does for you. If it isn't what you want you'd still have your 507 and could probably trade/afford to swap the e550 for an e63 wagon.
C63 507 + an E63S wagon = drool.

2014 E63S Wagon, 2013 odyssey
I traded in my 507 sedan for a e63 wagon... needed more space. I honestly love them both. The biggest difference I've noticed... well the c63 is brutal and violent (all in good ways). You hammer it the car goes sideways, etc.. just amazing.
The wagon, well just doesn't "feel" as fast. I know its faster has more power, but to me the 4matic makes it feel more "controlled" and not as asinine as the c63. And I do miss that.
If you want violence, keep the c63.. you want the ultimate sleeper get the wagon. Either way, they are both awesome cars.
