Finally found a BS for sale!
So I sold my 2010 c63 with all the mods I had done a couples months ago. Have been looking for my next car but living in central Tokyo, you don't really need a car however I've felt something missing.
The past 2.5 years I've been trying to buy a black series but none of them were the 'one' for me. I wanted a 4 seater carbon package black, white, or silver. Found a few two seaters but just couldn't pull the trigger. Then I found a matte silver 4 seater and immediately drove to the dealership. When I arrived it had literally just been sold.
I'm not sure how many black series that actually were delivered to Japan but I've read on a few different sites that it's only 50. So basically I had given up. I even almost bought a 2 seater and try to put the rear seats in but was advised against it by everyone lol.
Finally yesterday another one went up for sale, matte silver, 4 seater, carbon package with 3000 miles on it. It's like brand new, the only thing I could find was one tiny tiny chip in the front windshield.
As soon as I got inside and started her up, I smiled. I told the dealer that I'll buy it but I still wanna test drive it. He laughed. The previous owner was a non smoker, had never been in an accident and kept the car completely stiock. He upgraded to a Maclaren.
Unfortunately in Japan, it takes about 3 weeks or so to purchase a car. There are many hoops to jump through but the wheels are in motion. I can't wait to take ownership. I'll post some pics when I get it.
Do any BS owners have any tips/ recommendations for any customizations? For now I'll keep it stock since it's perfect in every way (in my opinion) but I'm curious what other owners have done. Also I thought my old c63 was amazing until I beefed her up and then she was even crazier haha.
This car is going to be one I keep, perhaps the first car of my collection. Especially since the engine is N/A and the last of a beautiful engine.
Thanks for reading my post! Looking forward to hearing from other BS owners!

Congrats on your find! It took me a while to find the one that I like.
As for keeping it stock, no way! I love the looks so the exterior is perfect, but it can always use some performance mods
Enjoy your new car!

I love the wheels on it already but I've been looking through an HRE catalogue, might be the first thing I buy for the car.

Hiro is definitely the man to talk to about the C63, he is now driving an A45 AMG.
HRE wheels on the BS? Which model u like?

The HRE wheels that I can't stop drooling over are the S101 3 piece. Black wheels on a matte silver car will be so sexy. What do u think?

I really like the p101 HRE wheels too, basically same but monoblok
Getting so excited!
Probably put on 20" since I don't track and I like the look. Have the stock BS wheels if I do ever go to Fuji Speedway too

The P101 is one of my favorite. I actually prefer it to the S101.
monoblocks > 3pcs wheels in terms of low maintenance.

Very nice Tokyo. Was it difficult to give up your non-BS C63? You had it set up nicely.
BTW, I grew up in Tokyo and get back there often for work and to visit family. I will be back there in Oct and plan to visit the tuning shop First. Have you been there? They seem to be pretty knowledgeable about C63s and AMGs in general.

I had all my work done at "First" If you plan on having some work done, Kato-San at First is very knowledgeable and does amazing work. Ask him for a ride in his weistec supercharged stage3 c63, gotta be the fastest c63 in Japan. First is in Saitama though, so kind of far if you're in Tokyo, but he does have a flatbed for pick up and drop offs. Also you can trust him. He won't try to rip you off. He really loves cars, especially Benz. He says he loves beating ferraris and other cars that underestimate his car haha.
Also Hiro another member here had his work done at First.
Let me know next time you're in Tokyo and we can have a car meet!

Cool, thanks for the info. I will definitely check them out. I live in California now so unfortunately I won't be able to actually take my car there. But I am interested to hear about C63 tuning from their perspective. Maybe even purchase some parts that I could ship back to the U.S.
I will reach out when I'm heading out there in Oct. I would love to check out the BS.
Take care!

It was very difficult haha but I always wanted a BS but nearly impossible to get in Tokyo. Seems I got fairly lucky with the timing!

It's official !!
Just bought the BS today. Can't wait to get behind the wheel. So lucky to find a basically brand new one.
I'm going to visit some family over seas so most likely won't be able to actually pick it up until I return in sept. Hopefully the car dealer can do all the title transfer and paper work fast so I can drive it before I fly out. I'm so excited!!
HRE P101 wheels gonna be purchased quite quickly seeing how sick they look

Absolutely ridiculous! But that's just how it is, no matter how much money you have you can't obtain it faster. You need to register a parking spot with the police station, they take a few days to do some paper work then they come to your parking spot and measure it and check it lol. Then there is a special type of insurance you need to buy called shaken, that's kind of like an emissions test. Then you need to give them proof of who you are, a special stamp that is unique to every person and get the paper work that shows that that stamp matches on the official document. And a whole bunch of other steps.
The first c63 I bought outright and expected to drive it off the lot, like I've done in Canada before but I was in for a surprise when I was told all the stupid **** I had to do lol.
Anyway annoying but well worth it. I'm sure it helps prevent stolen cars and other reasons too.
