Hey everyone,
I bought my car used a couple of years ago and it arrived with a tow hook mounted license plate, however the great state of Texas has relaxed the laws on requiring front license plates.

Just wanted to see if anyone had purchased an aftermarket cover or had any luck finding one. I asked the local MB dealership and they quoted me something like $150 for the 2x2 piece of plastic, so I figured I would pose the question here.

Are you sure about this? Could you please put up a link to the new law? From what I have read, they have revised the code again and you can get fined up to $200 for not having a front plate.
