dumb question but need help!

okay so I have a 09 c63 and I just ordered my mbh headers and the agency power valvetronic exhaust.. I already have the mike's power pipe installed on the car with my stock exhaust and headers.. now I feel like im missing a piece somewhere.. I feel like im missing the mid pipe.. am I right? I feel dumb for asking but I just wanted to double check with you guys!!

thanks

Did you order mid pipes (catted or straight) and an x-pipe or straight pipes with your MBH headers?

If not you will have to order them or fabricate mid pipes. The problem will be that Mike's power pipe is 2 1/2" (I believe) and the header collector is three inch.

The MBH system is LTH, Mid pipes (catted or catless) and x-pipe sized down to fit the stock pipe size at the resonator connection.

okay so my best bet will be to get the mbh mid pipes and probably go with the mbh x-pipe so I wont have a problem with down sizing and up sizing..

but would the agency power exhaust work with the x-pipe?

If the Agency Power is designed to be a direct bolt on to the cat connections then it should be a direct bolt on to the MBH x-pipe.

I have the catted mids and x-pipe but I think you can get a straight mid pipe that will take them place of them and be designed to be a direct bolt on to the resonator as well. It is just that it will be really loud and the race cats the x-pipe will tone it down some. Leave the cats out if you want a little more ooomph.
