C63 extended warranty question

I'm sure this has been discussed but I'm in the market for a 2010 c63 amg with p31 that just expired the certified warranty.

I'd like to purchase an extended warranty and want your opinion.

What is the best coverage to buy and what prices have you been seeing?

Check out the extended warranty forum.

The best coverage would be from Mercedes itself, but with a 2010 it may be beyond Mercedes willing to cover it, especially if your CPO warranty just expired.

many companies wont even cover AMG now, and you won't be getting a MB extended warranty with an expired warranty.

Look at easycare (i have them theyve been great) or Fidelity
both have been used by forum members with good experiences.

prices vary based on your current mileage and the number of years and miles you want but i highly suggest it as a repair of any significance can be quite costly, my warranty paid for itself in one repair.

I bought a used C63. I was offered easycare totalcare but it had to be purchased at the selling dealer prior to driving the car off the lot, otherwise no go since the C63 was no longer under warranty. I took it.

There was some wording in the contract that if there is a claim, easycare has the option to require that the car be taken to the selling dealer. Again due to it being covered post warranty.

ah yeah i forgot, ive heard from others that easycare required it be bought from the selling dealer at purchase....doesnt hurt to check though.

but mine was still in warranty so it might have been different, either way they were apparently very easy for the dealership to work with for repairs getting done.
