rotors brake installation question
dear all,
to install my brand new front rotors and pads for my 2010 C63, My question is when your install the new rotors wich torque they recommand to tignthening the torx screw ??? I found a video in th web that they torque them at 135 FT/pound - 180 NM for a C230 mercedez but I did not found anything for our Beast
someone can help me on that please ????

The screw does nothing but hold the rotor in place when the wheel is removed. It keeps the rotor from falling off. Put a drop of blue lock tight on it and snug it up. There is no reason to Torque It Down.

MB Torque for locking bolt (safety screw), brake disc of front axle to wheel hub is 10 Nm. Like Eric says just snug it down.

I definately recommend a drop of "blue" Loctite. It helps reduce corrosion on the Screw and you don't need to over tighten it. They corrode in there and can be a ***** to remove at times.
