Thumbs up Quick questions as im getting headers installed

I acquired a set of headers and im having them installed next week.

The headers are 1 7/8", 4 into 1 with 100 cell Cats.

Is that a normal header size for our cars?

Also, will i need to have new gaskets and bolts or can they use my existing ones?

Sorry if this has been covered before, but i did look at the header sticky, and i couldnt see any mention of sizes etc.

Also, i did some research, and wrapping the headers in that heat wrap was no recommended (Just an FYI for others).

They are SS headers, should i paint them in high temp black paint? What do you guys think?
Thanks

Remove the cats, no paint or wrap. New bolts and gaskets.

Just send the car to have the headers done.

Will report back once they are on.

I already have a OE Tune. In you guys opinion, will i need a retune?

Yes, you will need a header tune.

Got the car back.
Before and after dyno was 31 RWKW.

It's WAY WAY too loud.

I'm taking it back at the end of the week to put the stock secondaries back in to dull it down.

Car is just way too loud. Driving normal is OK. But slightest bit of throttle and it just roars.

No drone really. Which is good.
Power feels more but I haven't driven it properly.

Consider leaving the cats off, but replace stock mufflers with an Akrapovic slip-on. They sound superb - quieter than the stock mufflers, with a deep rumble, and do not cost you much power at all.
With LTHs and stock mufflers I had to start the car with the garage closed and often caught myself not driving fast in order not to create too much of a ruckus - with the Akrapovic it sounds authoritative, but reasonable.

That is what I have done and I could not be happier.
