Extended warranty
My dealer wants to charge $5090.00 for 3 year extended warranty,the third year covering just the power train. My C63 is three years old and I've not had any issues. Is it worthwhile spending over $5000.00 for the warranty? Does it make sense to use the money when a problem rises?

Worth it is not a question we can answer for you, but here is what I'd think about.
How many miles are on the car? How many miles do you drive in a year? Have you had a lot of problem so far? Who is the warranty through? Is it MB, or another third party underwriter?
I went with a 3rd party warranty when I got my 09 this past winter and I've used it, though not for anything huge. Still on the fence on the value. More a pricy piece of mind. Not sure I'd spend it on a 3 year old (post facelift and headbolt fix) car.

you should check out a fidelity one, platinum covers almost everything like a new car warranty, cost me less than $2500. Using it right now as a matter of fact, they are covering a new water pump on my 09. Already paying for itself 2 months in.
