finally some good news!!!
I have been pouring over posts while sweat has been pouring off me in regards to the headbolt disease. I have a 09 with 100k miles and was just waiting for the shoe to drop; but today I was able to get partial records of the previous work done on my car before I bought it with the help of MB Int. Yep, the head had work done 11/21/13 at 73,857 KM. The damn history is not in English and not complete (will work on that.) I can't tell as of yet exactly what was done but I do have some of the catalogue numbers of the pieces. I believe the head was opened because I translated the word front and right seals. Couple questions: does anyone know where I can punch in the catalogue numbers to see what was done? I have (I think) the bolt number - A1560160769. Google says cylinder bolt but no pics. They definitely would have used the revised bolts because this was in end of 2013, right. Thanks
