OEM Key Fob ...anybody have hook ups?

I only have one key for my C63 and although I don't necessarily need a 2nd one, it would still be nice to have. Dealer is quoting me $400+tax.

Wondering if anybody has other alternatives other than going through the dealer for this, or maybe somebody has hookups at a dealership!

there is no other way. Try other dealers. Dont waste your money on the ebay ones that aren't programmed. They are paper weights as keys are not programmable at the dealer for our cars.

shop around dealers, they quote different prices. try other states if you need to. I remember reading prices as cheap as 250

This is a dealer only part for security, and I'm glad it is. Had to replace a destroyed one on my previous E and it was like $350 or so. Dealer required proof of ownership (registration or title) and ID (and they knew me from selling me the car and servicing it a dozen times). Also told me it's more expensive if you loose the key vs. destroy it as they have to remove all the lost key from the car's system.

$400, WOW! It is too expensive, I think you can buy a key and take it to your local repair shop to program it, and you can also program it by your self, but it will be little troublesome. I lost my benz key before, and I bought a key on a e-shop named Carkeydeal, maybe, I can't remember it clearly, just $39, and program it by myself, it works well now.
