Thinking of doing tranny fluid change on my '10
I just have two questions, my car has 60k miles on it. I heard that if you do an automatic tranny fluid change that late it frees up the gunk inside the tranny and change give the car shifting issues. Is that true for this transmission?
Second is what transmission fluid is recommended?
Thanks in advance

should have been done at 40k but you will be fine doing it at 60k. the issues you are thinking of are when servicing a trans at like 150k. take it to the dealer and spend the 300 bucks or only use factory parts. you really want the fluid level to be perfect so taking to the dealer is your best bet. you dont just pour in from the top and check with a dipstick.

There is a DIY on here from memory. Just search it.
I have DIY tranny flush & filter etc. I bought everything from ECS Tuning.
Was pretty easy but i have a hoist. So getting under the car was easy. I would really recommend a hoist to do this job. Did my diff flush at the same time.

Not terribly hard but time consuming and getting the right level of fluid is a pain in the ***. Here is the DIY.
