Most cars I've had will have high oil pressure until the oil heats up. My 2011 C63 is the opposite. On a cold start up I have 45 psi that slowly climbs to 90 psi when the oil gets to full temp after driving a couple of miles.

Is this normal?

How are u measuring oil pressure?

Thanks. You solved my problem. For some reason I thought the oil temp gauge was the pressure gage. I can't believe this car doesn't have an oil pressure gauge.

Most don't. Most drivers wouldn't even know what oil pressure is.
