Weistec Stage 3 9.7 @ 144
Hi guys, went to the track last night to test the car with the Weistec V2 transmission and the results were great. First run was for testing and get familiar with the car.
Second pass 9.7 @ 144 and third pass 9.8 143. In this one the Car was going to the left lane so we have to hold the pedal a bit. This V2 really makes a difference. Gears go really smooth and it hold power really strong.
Want to thanks Weistec and specially Steve for his support and for always take the time to help us. And of course my local guys Fernando and Javier for their unconditional help!

NICE! That is moving for a full size 4 dr sedan. Great news to see a street car in 9's.
Jrcart's clk63 has never been a power issue. It's putting the power down that has always been the issue. They can crank out 1400+ crank hp but the trans wont take it and the tires wont hook. Maybe with v2 the clk will be make a come back and lay down some 8's this next year.

Thanks all for the good comments. The car is a Waistec stage 3 build engine, heads, rods , pistons, ice tank etc. We just upgrade to the V2 transmission. It has the torque converter, CF drive shaft and Quife dif. For suspension it has the KW coil overs and we are using 18' front skinny's and 15' M/T slicks 26x10.
Front and rear seats has been removed for weight reduction. A 100 Nos shot was used as we stated before.
Our problem has never been a power issue either. The issue always been the same, to put the power down. But fortunately we finally find the solution. My only problem now is that in Puerto Rico we have only one drag strip and a roll cage is mandatory after a 9 pass!!

Thanks all for the kind words. I'm very happy with the results, but I the will try to convince the track to let us run at least one more time in a private rental because we know is a lot more in the tank.
Anyways next Saturday we will be running in the PR Half Mile event in Aguadillla airport. Our best run before was 168.9 on a stock engine with headers, programing and Nos. So we are very exited to see how the car perform this time with all the changes we have done. I think 180 mph is achievable so this is the goal.

I'm running the 55 mm pulley, and the tuning is from Weistec. Steve modified the program for the nitrous (timing/fuel). We Always use C16 (116) to be safe.
With the 55mm pulley we get 14 lb boost. I really don't understand how other members are getting 18 with a 60mm pulley.

Well, I just can tell you what I know for sure. At least in my car, the dyno and the data log reads 13-14 lb. and I've been using this pulley for a while. That was something I was questioning lately, because I read of other members about 18 lb. and unless my pulley has the wrong number on it I don't understand. And a smaller pulley I don't think is possible because of the heat soak.
