C63 AMG Tuning

Trying to find out how to get the most affordable power out of my C63. I would assume tuning would be the best thing. I live in Texas. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Eurocharge is the recommended tune for safe reliable power but there are several other companies out there that provide great tunes as well. I haven't seen too much about logic lab tuning though.

I talked to Phil at Eurocharge and Alex at logic lab this morning. Sounds like both companies have great products when it comes to tuning. Thanks

both solid choices.

I think the thing that sets eurocharged apart from the rest is the motor protection warranty against anything that happens due to the tune. Always a good thing to have...

http://www.eurocharged.com/warranty

Tuning (Software) Motor Replacement Policy

Eurocharged is so confident in our tuning offerings that we will warranty any motor against internal parts damage due to issues directly related to our software. Upon issue, we will require all parts be inspected by an approved dealer for analysis.
  • Products must be purchased directly through an authorized Eurocharged dealership in the US or Canada and not by a previous owner or 3rd party.
  • Coverage is for 2 years or 20,000 miles from the original in-service date
  • Motor coverage is limited to $50,000
  • Valid maintenance records will be required
  • Problem parts including the ecu(s) may need to be shipped to Houston for diagnosis and repair. If the issue is deemed to be as a result of our tuning, we will reimburse for all shipping charges. If any parts are missing, we may deny the claim.
  • Warranty claim may be denied if determined that another tuner's software was installed on the vehicle at any given time
  • Receipt required for Eurocharged software purchase

+1 for eurocharged!

their service and support are on point. also since they back up their tunes with a warranty, it's a no brainer!

Since when? When I bought EC V2 or V3 no one ever said anything about a warranty lol..and how do you guys know if its tune related? I've burned through 2 intake manifolds so like 20k+ in other parts since I've had my car "tuned" but how do you even say "oh the tune did that" vs "No you just beat the crap out of the car" ?

Not trying to pick on Eurocharged at all here as I am sure they are good guys - but honestly, that's the problem with this kind of warranty. All they have to say is "that's not the fault of our tune" and the onus is then on you to prove that it is. And you have to ship all of the parts and such to them for them to decide that it's not their fault. You kinda have to decide if you trust something like this based on the reputation of the folks involved. Example - I had some transmission work done on my GTR by Jack's in Colorado Springs, and chose him mostly because of his reputation as a stand-up guy who would take care of you even if it meant taking responsibility and making an expensive repair. That's just the way Jack is. I am too new to this scene to know if the same goes for Eurocharged - but hey, at least they are willing to put a claim of a warranty out there, most other tuners won't even do that!

do you enjoy playing devils advocate all the time, or are you just an *******?

and if you actually spent 20k in repairs on a c63 over a tune, you are not only an *******, but a retarded one at that.

You're drunk, I'm one of the first dudes on the W204 to have a lotta stuff done to his car and now you're calling me a liar? Get a life, Scrub.

intake manifolds in Canada cost $7k..........its not my fault Mercedes made cheap intakes, if you don't believe me go ask your dealer as theres an UPDATED intake manifold for 2009 mercedes

And it's not hard to rack up 20k in repairs, in 3 repairs you already are spending 10k+

Fuel pumps - 3-4k
Purge valve - 1k
Intake manifold - 7k

I was just simply ASKING about the warranty and how it works and how they can TELL if its tuned related. and you plebs start going off.

To anyone reading INS1GNIA's and solekeepers posts - They live in Florida and Kansas...do i really need to say more?

nice auto body shop by the way..looks sick man,

It's funny how offensive you get when someone jokes with you Avery. No doubt you have a lot done to your car and I never said you didn't, but this just kinda shows how psycho you are lol.

im not psycho at all...you're just extremely broad and call me a liar in general without reason ...if you guys are still calling me a liar about my dyno #s all you gotta do is ask nicely and i'll post videos/sheets but im not going to reply nicely if people are going to continually bash me because of my experiences or call me a liar just for the "hell" of it,

mbcomer knew exactly the question i asked but some how 2 members whove been here for years had to go off-topic and start bashing other people.
