For Sale: Brand new wheel spacers, 15MM and 10MM
Hi Folks,
Bought some wheel spacers but looks like I won't be able to use them since I'm too low... I need much smaller spacers, if any at all.
Anyways, I'm asking $45 per set shipped to your door in the continental United States. If you take both sets, they're yours for $80 shipped!
They're brand new as I used them just for test fitting. Spacers ONLY - no bolts since I'm using a stud kit, which I highly recommend. I can point you in that direction if you'd like.
Pics will be up tomorrow! PM me to make a deal!
Thanks for looking.

Well, 15 seem a bit too aggressive to me for the fronts. Others have said they've done it though.
As for the rears, the 10's will fit fine if you keep the stock 13mm spring pads or upgrade to the 17 like most here do.
I found that those setups gave the car too much of a rake and I'm not a fan of that look so am a tad lower in the rear using the 5mm spring pads.

I see you are running 265 on the rear and likely why you cannot run 10mm spacers on the rear. I think you need to run OEM size 255 to run a 10mm spacer on the rear, especially if you are lowered.

Probably because the 10mm doesn't fully clear the factory lip on the hub. You have to clear that factory lip in order to put the same lip on the spacers, otherwise the lip CB would have to be a bigger bore than the factory CB.

Exactly. The lip on the hub is indeed larger than 10mm thus not allowing the 10mm spacer to re-create a 10mm lip as it doesn't have enough room to sit against the hub. It's confusing to visualize but the reason spacers under 12mm don't usually have lips. Same reason an 8mm, 5mm and 3mm spacer doesn't have a lip.

Wrong guys, my 10mm & 12mm h&r spacers have a lip .. Anything under 10mm would be w/o . Ur 10mm will cause vibration.

Also, I disagree with the fact that a spacer without a lip will necessarily cause vibrations. I've run 3mm, 5mm, and 10mm spacers without a lip many, many times and I've never had issues with vibrations. Have you?

I never measured our stock hub to be honest but the H&R spacers are definitely 10mm & the lip is perfectly 66.6 to fit my oem wheels.
Yes the chance of vibration is big. A car using bolts is different from a car using nuts/studs. I don't recommend using 10mm non hub-centric on our C63 as the wheel lugs will support most of the wheel weight.

Different spacers designed differently.
However, without a lip, you run a chance of a vibration at 10MM.
3MM and 5MM will be fine, since your OEM lip is still large enough.
Is there a chance the 10MM won't vibrate? Sure, but there's also a very good chance it will.
EDIT: ECS Tuning 10MM Spacers are Wheel Centric and Hub Centric.

H&R 10MM Spacers are the same too.

Your spacers are Hub Centric, but not Wheel Centric.
EDIT 2: It's not whether our hubs are "longer" than 10MM. It's the fact that if there's 2/3MM left, your wheel doesn't have enough room to sit on your hub properly. You would likely need at least about 5MM or so. Which is why when people run 8MM non wheel cetric, it's really pushing it. 3MM and 5MM is fine for most vehicles, 8MM is pushing it, and truthfully, I would rather just properly run a 10MM.

Our stock hub height is 8mm and there is enough room for a 10mm spacer to be wheel centric as well as hub centric. It will be very difficult to get a wheel centered properly without a wheel centric lip on the spacer and the chance of an imbalance will be large.
