BMC filter for CBS

Just did a BMC air filter change for my Black Series and ran about 200miles on it for the past few days.
All i can say,do not waste your money.
The performance difference is close to NIL.
Maybe because i'm already using ROW

Not the most helpful post. The fact is that a BMC, K&N, or AFE aftermarket air filter WILL make more power. It's like, a fact. You're not going to feel 3-5hp driving day-to-day. They are worthwhile to do for the cost, and is part of the well-worn path to increasing hp.

As a fellow black series owner who only drives it on nice days on weekends I gotta say, your car is freakin awesome. Leave it alone. You can't make it any better...

Because it all adds up. 5 here, 10 there, 15 there, etc. And as you start to add more things that increase the efficiency of the exhaust leaving the engine, you need to similarly optimize the efficiency of air entering the engine. Air filters are the first thing you should do on these - and most any - cars.

You are right.was just hoping for something more than a normal feel from the 5-10 bhp..
Does Renntech intake 10bhp proven makes the difference much more huge in terms of feel?

As this is the first car i'm doing a mod step by step,i usually do all at one go, headers ,mid pipes, cats, mufflers, intakes ecu tune etc.

Sorry if it ain't helpful

I've used all the above filters and they are all great but personally the AFE filter in my CBS now are my favorite. The sound has changed slightly and my car pops and crackles more and slightly louder and it feels like my car is breathing a little better. I would recommend them above the other brands.
