Extended warranty question
Hello everyone! I'm about to purchase a 2012 c63 coupe p31 with pretty much every option from a dealer for $41k USD. It has 56k miles and is currently out of warranty. I've done tons of research, vehicle was fully serviced recently, I test drove it, I had a mechanic from yourmechanic.com look at the car and give his greenlight, and carfax is clean. I'm just wondering if anyone has heard of or dealt with Smart Autocare 5 star vehicle protection program? I've attached their coverage policy for reference. Does this seem comprehensive, specifically as it relates to c63 amg's? Are there better options for me to consider even if it may cost more? Cost for 3 years/60k additional is $2,348 USD. Thanks so much. Looking forward to being a part of the family!

They are willing to warranty the car for three more years and up to 115K miles (theoretically) for $2400? Sounds way too cheap honestly. Is there a deductible?
For example the Mercedes ELW is somewhere around $3K and that's for 3/75K total miles (not additional).

Hey Realjones88, the dealer says it's a $100 "disappearing deductible" meaning if I take it to Mercedes it's $100 and if I take it to their service dept. it's $0. They are almost 50 miles from me. Gives me pause. But does the coverage look ok?

Looks like they are some random company that sends out mailers about warranties about to expire. There is next to no information about this company online. Anyone can print out a list of car parts they say they cover, but actually getting those items covered is another issue.
I would run away and look at other options.

the best and most popular one on amg's is fidelity. I paid 4k for my 5yr/60k with a 250$ deductible. im currently having misfire issues and the warranty already paid for itself in one visit. i also asked the service advisor at my local MB which aftermarket warranty he recommends and he mentioned 4, one being fidelity, and none of the ones you mentioned. i wrote it down somewhere and i'll get it if you are interested.
i dont think you can get it tho, youre not under manufacturers warranty.
edit: another really good one is route66, but they don't cover AMGs

yeah, i had it tacked on right before the original warranty expires. and yes it covers everything but wear and tear items. strangely, they took care of my engine and tranny mount (1k at the dealership...). my warranty expires at 110k miles
