Key remote Battery Life
I noticed the battery life for the key remote is too short. I changed mines November of 2015, I was away for work for 2 months and when I came back the battery on the key fob needs to be replaced already? Anyone have the same problem?

Mine have averaged about 9 months before needing replacement.

Guess I have been lucky, I've had mine for 4 years now, albeit I only drive the car on the weekends or nice weather. I can say that the only issue I had was at high elevation last year which I think the alien theory comes into play.

I'm in the same boat. Mine last 12 months before having the dash message. I don't drive the car daily. I was told this i normal particularly with keyless go option.

If your car has keyless-go and you leave the key in your car (at home in the garage) or even within three feet of the car - it will kill the key battery super fast. for the simple fact that the key and the car are always communicating within that range.

I was having the same problem with both of my vehicles and all four keys, we switched to Duracell DL2025 Duralock Lithium Batteries and they last a lot longer now
