Audio volume auto adjust
Just got a 2009 c63 and i noticed that the audio volume auto adjust to compensate for the interior noise when the car is moving.
Any way to disable it?
I didnt noticed it has on my c300
Any help greatly appreciated

MBWorld Fanatic!
What I'd like to know is how the heck to disable the audio from defaulting to the same (high) level on start up. Annoying.

Seems like you can turn it off in system settings of COMAND

This feature annoys the hell out of me! The worst part is, mine seems to be acting up at this point. Would love to be able to turn it off and/or remove the sensor.
I will pull up to a stop light, and be waiting, and all of a sudden the volume will creep up to a point where it becomes really loud -- without any exterior noise inspiring the change.
This is very annoying when you have someone in the car, and are trying to have a conversation.
Also, I've begin to notice that when I start the car, the volume will be a lot higher than it was when I turned it off.
Like Jay-rick -- I haven't found anything in the COMMAND engineering menu, nor in the manual that seems like a viable option to turn this off. I have read elsewhere on forums that this is an issue that can be turned off with STAR diagnostics -- but I hope there is an easier solution prior to going down that road.
