OZ Racing Central Lock wheels on C63??

I stumbled across an image of what appears to be a C63 with OZ Ultraleggera Central Lock wheels. Is this real or some type of hub cap?

OZ Racing has a new wheel that has a cap over them.

OZ Forumla HLT 5H

Looks like on this C63, they took off the little "Star", and only used the Cap.

I believe that it as cap to make it appear as though they are center locks. I will admit though, I'm not positive. I plugged that image in, followed it around, and ended up at "center lock look."

On the other hand, the diameter of the red ring that would have to hide everything doesn't look big enough. But that could also be the angle of the photo.

Interesting

But, upon further inspection. It's round on these lug holes, whereas the HLT 5H isn't round.

Maybe these really are center locks.

See, I wanted to go there too. But it is clear those obvious lines do not exist here.

Hang on, I have an idea give me a sec

^ That's where I was going.

I just pulled the image into paint real quick. The gap at the tip of the red arrow leads me to believe the entire center is a cap and is just playing with our eyes.

Yeah, you might be right. Either way, nice to see some CLs on a C63. They do have CL hub conversions available.

Yeah from the image I can't imagine that being some type of central lock look. No way there's room for lugs behind that small circle.

So the big question is what would have to be done to convert C63 hubs to central lock?

When looking at the non center lock version of the same wheel, that flat space does not seem to exist. So im guessing it must be an actual center lock setup.

Just a cap guys, get real - nobody is going to go through the work to convert their hub to a centerlock. Tons of wheel manufacturers do this. Back in the day I had this same look on my 1G DSM.

You can buy center lock conversion kits that just bolt on....no real work required.....they just drill out your lug pattern

I have a set for my '68 Charger

Get real guys, he had these on his 1G DSM. That's right! A DSM.
You are not allowed to convert your wheels to a real center lock....

No, really. It's not that difficult to convert nor is it that costly.

The extremely difficult part is finding the right wheels unless you go custom. These are the holy grail for anyone who wants something above a stud conversion.

And any centrelock conversion is going to play havoc with your wheel offsets and require a wheel with sufficient hub clearance for the stud heads/lug nuts.

Want centrelock = buy a Porsche GT2, GT3 or Turbo.
