You talking about contisport 5p? Cause those suck terribly for traction. Sport cups would be much better traction wise but longevity would be lower

The Cup 2 is going to have MUCH more traction than the P5. You're comparing an R-compound track tire to a street tire. What kind of answers did you think you were going to get.

You can read what ever you want in a mag review but I'm telling you I have them and they suck for traction from dead stop now track duty no idea haven't taken my car to the track but for spirited driving not a fan.

Haha. The stock 5Ps were awful! PSS can smoke them in ANY measurement, including tread life. PSC2s would probably be monster tires by comparison but not last as long.

OP - Are you on Cup 2 now? If yes, what do you think of them and how do they compare to what you were running before?

He's right. The 5p are pretty bad for traction on these cars. I had them as stock on the black series and really did not like them. Made the car underperform although making the car slide around was total child's play. Assuming you want grip then go a different direction. I have p zeros now and couldn't be happier
