Broken fog light lenses

two days after i own the car i take a rock straight to the fog light and ruin the lens. called MB and the fog lights are 150-250$ a piece depending on my VIN.

anyone run these cheap ebay ones?

If you do go the new route, consider throwing some clear film on them, should help prevent future cracks/chips

I have 1 in my trunk I still haven't gotten around to changing! online I think I purchased it for 130. I think there are better deals out there. good luck. shop book states 1 hour for drivers side and 1.3 hours for passenger side. (oil cooler is on the passenger side). As a DIY I would say double that time. It's pretty cramped in there without the right tools.

i think i will go with the ebay ones and see what happens. i mean honestly how much of a difference can it make?

I had the same exact thing happened to me when I bought the car! Literally the second day of driving it, I go check the fog light and it was broken. I bought OEM from the dealer for $180 or something like that. It was a while back.

I used Lamin-X and it was great for a few months until the glue burned and turned black from the heat.

thanks for all the help guys. just placed an order for the cheapo ebay ones.

95$ shipping to canada ouch oh well still cheaper then at the dealer for both
