I know in NA form the sls cams make no power for the m156 but recently heard a rumor when boosted its another story. Has anyone with a boosted m156 fitted sls cams??

Well, on the basis that the air is being forced in to help overcome possible reversion at high rpm, this could well be the case.

Strictly speaking though...the SLS being a more race-bred version of the M156 and being designed for better high rpm performance, I'm going to guess it has longer duration on the exhaust cams, which would mean any likely success is going to be down to your tuner as to how much he retards the intake lobe to avoid boost being wasted out of the exhaust...but then maybe he'll advance the exhaust side...ahh who knows man.

I know it's 'possible' to make power on FI motors with wild N/A cams (from experience on other cars) but as I've found out recently, a lot of it will depend on the ability of whom you choose to tune the car.

Waste of time and money. Smaller pulley and build the engine if you want more power..

Better off just buying a GTS. Boosted AND has a warranty. Also more power. And cheaper. And newer... And the list goes on... sigh, oh to dream.

H is past this his stage 3 blower is nearly installed his just looking at some other mods

his tuner seems to think he can get SLS cams to work on the boosted m156 and since his car is pretty much pulled apart might aswell go for it
