Soooo i opened this up


i opened this(not my pic or car) and upon doing so when it opened either the force of the motion or my clothing got caught and i broke it that way




thats what broke.. i attempted to glue it back(smh) but it didnt hold id assume because i didnt adhere it good enough...




(not my pic) my question is this... can i replace the door alone?? can i take the door off and glue it properly? if so how do i? or do i have to replace the whole center console???

Glue wont hold it, it will eventually break again. You may be best to replace the whole arm rest. They aren't that costly. And Just for a matter of fact I have one for sale

Now you can upgrade to a W212/W207 leather stitched center console.

To my knowledge, that armrest is not a stock assembly for your car. That's either a European console or came out of an E-Class.

I have really been wanting the leather center arm rest. What's the part number and where is the best place to get it from? I missed the boat back in 2010 when David was hooking everyone up with it...

Well since you have the Euro console, you may need to find a W212 Euro spec console to match. Unless you can swap just the console cover.

It looks 100% identical to yours except the its wrapped in Nappa leather and stitched on the sides. It's much nicer when your arm is resting on it

i dont have tthe euro console.. i have the one with 2 cup holders exposed... the two pics arent mine only pic of mine is the one showing the broken piece

A 212 680 02 98 9G23 - LHD Euro console with Nappa leather/stitching.

A 204 680 239 1 - Euro console cup divider / add on

For the US Spec (NON Euro console) you can use any W212/W207 model ; there are 2 versions with the center opening thing in the front compartment, the version you want is the one that looks exactly like our factory US spec one. Direct bolt in part but requires you to remove almost everything in the center console to install.

So that first part number is the entire arm rest stitched in leather if I am reading you correctly...

Ah, didn't catch that.

But like I said, you have 3 options:

Stock W204 US spec console

Euro spec W204/W212 console with leather

or US spec W212 console with leather + cup holders

You could be looking at the entire center console. Let me look into it some more and if I can get it from Europe through a connection I will share.

Check to see if is just the armrest you are looking at though...

I think the sweet spot for the armrest from Europe delivered to US is about $270 for part and about $200 for shipping so about $500-$600...

Yeh the Euro console will cost more.

The W204/W212/W207 US spec Nappa leather console is much more common stateside and can be had for around $200-$250 - used of course.
