EC V5 Tune lost blip...
I just finished installing a FI Exhaust. The cat back version. My only other mods are ROW boxes and EC V5 tune. I got everything buttoned up and let it idle to check for leaks and all was well so I took it out for a drive.
Strangely I seem to have lost the down shift throttle blip of the V5. It actually feels and sounds like it's not even rev matching. It just down shifts.
It doesn't feel like the car is down on power. I did have the battery disconnected while I installed the wiring for the control module.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

It doesn't rev match in sport, sport+, or manual.
I'm going to reflash the tune in the morning to see if that helps. Otherwise I'll contact EC on Monday.
In the mean time keep the ideas coming.

Reset your ECU.
The procedure to reset the ECU is as follows:
1. Turn the ignition key to the "on" position which is just before you crank the engine to start.
2. Press the accelerator to the floor and hold for 5 seconds.
3. Then turn the key to the off position but do not remove the key, then release the accelerator.
4. Wait at least 2 minutes, the ECU is then reset.
5. ECU is now reset and you are ready to get new rear tires.
The ECU reset procedure only erases the adaptive transmission and throttle settings. It does not erase any of the fuel, timing or other programming.

Also let the car fully warm up, do some spirited driving, then test it out.
