LOL $500 for the handheld only??? I paid $699 for the tune and handheld. The handheld is worth maybe $100 from the whole package.

The handheld is worth exactly zero. It's like Commodore 64 era technology at best, and useless without a tune, which is paired to a specific car.

I think you could buy it, send it to EC and they can unlock it to be used with your car. I think that service is 150-250. It's not worth the money considering a tune +handheld is going for $730 right now from EC and the tune if you own a handheld is $569.00
