C63 2012 Vs The hottest summer ever! Tips needed for better care!
Hi folks
Just wondered, as summer peak temp can reach as much as 55 C (130 F) in gulf region in Dubai specifically, are there any recommendations for better maintainability of C63 in such extreme weather conditions?
For example, as I am driving normally in, you can say, a relax mode, the engine temp is 92 C (198 F) which seems on a higher side, though, the outside temperature still does not exceed 42 C (108 F). A bit stressed how much it could reach when my driving mode gets little sportier in much higher temperature!!!
One more disturbing, yet nonsense, fact I have been told by the first owner, that, he had to replace the washer fluid reservoir once each year, and that is due to, utmost, the high temperature of the engine which causes the reservoir to melt till it starts to leak and finally blanks !! Come on man.. did really AMG overlook this one?? Or my car is totally different than others?
Back to the main subject… your input guys are most welcome. Your recommendations could be related to engine radiator coolant types or driving styles or extras on the engine hardware etc to avoid over heating in the hottest summer around the world.
Again, thanks to stop by

I do not have experience with your extreme temperatures, but I do live in Florida and it gets very warm here. In reality these engines (in model year 2012) seem to hover around 221F for oil temps and 199F for water temps if you simply are cruising around. If you start to push it, or are in really bad stop and go traffic, my oil temp goes up to around 235F and my water temp stays at about 199F. I have never seen my oil temp go above 235F on the street, the track however is a different story.

Rabeiah, your engine temp is actually running cool so I would not worry at all. Only when it starts to get to 260+, it will put you into "limp mode" in order to cool down the car. Mostly this happens when members track their car all day, so again, nothing to worry about, just like Jmueller was talking about.
As far as the washer fluid reservoir. I would make sure that it's not bent or pressed up against something it shouldn't be. I've never heard of someone having to replace it every year though, even those who live in extreme heat areas.

44O cooling package. It's cheap insurance really (under $1600 for parts), especially where you are.
