Help please!!!!!!!

I started my car and started to accellerate and car went into limp mode, esp unavailable and brakes barely work. Also check engine light came on with p0638 code throttle position sensor. Any ideas? Checked battery, its good. Car has rough idle and wont let me rev past 2k rpms.

I also was low on gas and im think when i pushed the pedal down, it sucked in air, im not sure mayb im wrong.
Thanks!

Several of us have had throttle position sensor problems. Your symptoms match what most of us have seen. It's usually triggered by wheel slip on hard acceleration and can temporarily be fixed by just restarting the car. Only known fix so far is replacement.

Try the search function for 'throttle position sensor' for more info.

You may have to reset it with a scan tool but if the coil inside of the sensor is bad you need to replace it because it will keep giving you the code

The dealer near me has the whole accelerator pedal with the sensor for $208. Might have to just go get it.

It could either be the pedal sensor or the tps on the throttle body itself
