I bought some new Bosch brake pads for the rear of my car for replacement. On the existing brake pads i see there are also these L & R letters which I am assuming means left and right. I see other pads for sale don't have these but I am curious as how to fit them. My head tells me to just replace them in the sequence they are in now but don't know if the previous person fitted them correctly. Been searching all afternoon but can't find any info on this.



Here on the RR wheel it has the L on top and R at the bottom.






And on the RL wheel it has the R on top and the L at the bottom.

That is the same orientation as the rear pads on my car that are still original as well.
