Hey guys, I am selling my carbon fiber steering wheel with airbag, carbon paddle shifters, and alcantara suede hand grips.

I have posted a thread in the For Sale section in interior parts. This steering wheel/airbag combo will fit any 2010+ E-Class, C-Class, and CLS-Class. It is coming off a 2011 E63.

Nice looking wheel, I love my CF steering wheel as well.. The feel & grip is amazing.

Sorry to say u overpaid for it though, I bought mine for half the price u paid. It will be hard to move such high priced item.

Where did you get yours from? They sell a similar one on eBay & that's eBay quality carbon and workmanship. This is high quality carbon fiber with professional stitching that will last for years which is why I avoided the made in China eBay route. The sun beams through the front windshield and heat gets to well over 200 degrees Fahrenheit easily. That's enough to bubble the clear on the carbon fiber over an extensive period of time. I didn't want to ever run into that issue so I went the premium route.

I bought all my carbon fiber parts via ebay. They are just as high quality as my friend who paid twice as much. Legitimate companies sell their products on ebay just an fyi.

Your piece is very nice, but just because you bought it away from ebay doesn't make the quality any better.

I wouldn't necessarily argue with your statement; however, with a steering wheel and its direct exposure to sunlight with the rays reflecting off the windshield the wheel itself can get very hard. I have seen many poor quality carbon jobs where the resin will begin to bubble.

I cannot assure that the eBay one will or will not do this, but I can assure you mine will not since I have had it for over 8 months and the resin is in new shape even the portion always exposed to immediate heat.

I was willing to pay $1000 more for security not to mention the airbag is OEM from Mercedes, so no chance of it blowing up in your face due to a knock off malfunction.

Not on this wheel. It's a different style airbag than the OEM wheel.
