Hey all, just recently sold my C55 and looking at the 2012+ C63 sedan as the next car. As there are very few cars available in my price range and with lower miles (<30k), I'm having to expand my search to nationwide and may even buy one sight-unseen (after doing extensive research, obviously). With that in mind, here's my question:

Do all C63s with the "must-have" lighting package option come with the headlight washers & respective bumper cutouts? I know that with the C55, if it had the bumpter cutouts for the washer; it had the lighting package. Wondering if it's the same on the C63.

All C63s have the hinged washer cutouts, regardless of the lighting package. I had halogens and have them.

So, apparently the site below will show you all the options associated to the VIN of the car, and it's free. I tested it out by finding a few cars for sale and comparing the info listed with the pictures from the car ads. Seems accurate...

Having made the switch from C55 to 2012 C63, I can tell you that you will be thrilled. I really liked my C55 but as I look back on it, there is not a single thing about the C55 that isn't better on the C63. Well, except for tire life. And gas mileage. But both of those are really my fault.

If you have pics that are good enough to see the bumper cutouts, you should be also able to see the headlight. Study them a bit and you'll find it really easy to tell the halogen (large projector) from the bi-xenon (smaller projector).

On the 2012+ its dead simple. If it has the LED (i think) "C" in there its the lighting package.

OP -- PM me more details if you would like on your situation so there is more transparency. I'm pretty motivated to sell but not about to take a big hit because I know what this car is worth and will sell for.

It's just not everyday people go looking to buy c63's which is why I still have it.

I'm not sure about pre 2014 models, but my car has the lighting package, hinged washer cut-outs, but no washers. When i picked my car up and we went through all the features, I asked about this. I was told that the washers were problematic and ultimately deleted. The bumpers retain the cut-outs however.

zcct04 & SaphGreyC63, thanks a bunch! Do the cars with halogen lights have projects or will all the cars with projectors have the lighting package?

Trust me, I have ZERO issues with spending more money on gas & tires!

Halogen lights have reflectors. HIDs (lighting package) have projectors.
