Rotors question

Hi all, I have a 2012 C63 Coupe (P31 package). I did do a search and want to confirm that I am able to use regular c63 rotor as a replacement to my p31 package rotors that came with the car.

I found these on parts.com and can someone confirm that they will work as a replacement? Thank you for your help!

The P31 rotors are dual cast/compound/composite/1.5 piece whatever stupid marketing name you want to give it. The hat is aluminum and the disc is iron, but they are one solid piece. The only advantage is weight savings. The non-P31 rotors are the same size, they are interchangeable and will work fine.

Yes the fronts are interchangeable. The rear rotors are the same for all C63.

(not counting black series)

Interesting, I have the non PP version and wanted to upgrade to Two pieces version. I can see why you want to go with the one piece. But regardless of price, what effects will it have when adding more weight to unsprung components? Does the ride suffer?

On paper theoretically a better ride and handling. Could anyone actually tell the difference on a street driven car? Probably not.

Remember the vast majority of C63s (probably 80+%) have the one piece rotors up front. The rotors for the new w205 C63 are also all one piece (other than the carbons).

My experience with parts.com (for brake components) is that they essentially use 'bait & switch' tactics with their advertised prices. Their website states a price lower than all/most other retailers to bait you, but once you put the order in they will contact you later to say the price was wrong and they have to charge you a higher rate - but they'll compensate that with a shipping charge adjustment.

Even if the total price is equal to or less than others, I just don't like the deceptive practice. They've known for years that their website's stated prices are wrong and yet they don't change it. I won't do business with them.
