Anyone Modified Y-Shaped Exhaust Tips To Fit?

I'm wondering how hard it would be to make these fit our stock mufflers

I looked around and there's been a couple people who have fit them on other w204's but I couldn't find any pictures of anyone fabbing something up on a c63 or other w204 with c63 mufflers.

has anyone given these a shot?

Tips I want to try:

Our tips don't look like you second picture as they are 2 separate pipes from each muffler to the tip not one pipe split. Here is what the OEM exhaust tips look like.

oh wow I never knew that, that makes things a whole lot easier.

Thanks!

Part of me really wants to give something like this a shot: http://www.e90post.com/forums/attach...1&d=1305079202

but I'm just not sure if the round tips will look good with the cut of the diffusor on our cars

I like that look with the straight-cut titanium tips. The OEM rolled edges just look horrible to me. You're right though about not being sure about them with our diffuser shape. Someone posted pics with round tips a couple years ago and it looked awful.

I was thinking more like the current oval shape, a little bit fatter, straight-cut titanium. Like this:

I've been looking on-and-off for awhile, but oval straight-cut titanium is difficult to find. I just took measurements, so I'll continue to search and post back when I find something. May have to order round and 'squish' them into ovals.

Not a bad idea, I'm guessing an exhaust shop would be able to do that fairly easily?

I'd love to be able to fit two 4' tips on each side, but I still have to take measurements

The tips themselves are 4.5" wide each. 4" would be too small. I have 1/2" from the tips to the diffuser on either side, plus 1/4" between the tips. So there's 10.25" to play with (your diffuser may fit differently).

The largest size I can find in the burnt finish that I want is 4"

I'm wondering if they'll be anywhere near 4.25/4.5" once flattened a bit to create the oval shape

I may have to give it a shot next week with some tips from ebay
