Need some help!! CEL for all ignition coils.
I need some help.
I have been fighting the CEL on my 2010 C63 for about two weeks know.
The CEL come up for all ignition coils. (P0351 trough P0358 Ignition Coil Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction).
I don't have any other codes showing up.
The car does not misfire. If it wouldn't be for the CEL there is no difference at all. The car runs perfect.
The issue is present with a tune and w/o a tune loaded.
It almost seems to be a glitch.
I had it at a Bosch service and at a Mercedes (AMG) service center which they couldn't find anything. to be fair the only had the car for little over 4h.
The Mercedes service center has updated the software on the ME but that didn't change anything.
I have an appointment next week to take it back to the Mercedes service center to leave the car with them as long as it takes for them to correct it.
So far I have checked the wire harness for any wear and tear. I measured every single connection pin of the coil connectors through while wiggling and moving the harness all the war to the ME.
I have pulled all the spark plugs to check them. Cleaned all the ground connections.
Added an addition ground wire from the engine block to the chassis to see if it could be ground issue.
Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated.
