AMG Specific Manual
I just bought a 2013 C63 with the performance package.
I have been through all the books that I got with the car and have checked online with MBC and MBUSA for an owners manual and they both offer the same manual on line that I have.
It seems to me there is very little reference to this car and more specifically about engine maintenance and illustration of all the unmarked caps with dip sticks under the front over.
Is there a good reference manual available for the M156 engine?
Thanks.

Nope. Not here in Canada, anyways. Just a general C Class manual and a Comand manual.
Just realized youre in Sidney. Im in Vancouver. If you need some BC centric advice, shoot me a PM. Be glad to help.

Seems to be the same here in the US, just a few minor references to the C63 in the normal C class manual, but nothing very specific.

Can you guys be a little more specific?
Caps with dipstics are the power steering, it has no reference? in the pre face lift there is reference. For the oil dipstick for the engine as well.
Does the MCT have a dipstick? I don't think it does, because the procedure for filling seems to apply to the MCT too.
I'll write this: I was curios about the curb weight and it not being posted in the manual. SO I called the 1800 number to Mercedes and got it.
They will provide you with owner related information.
Now granted, the information in the manual regarding adaptive brakes was thin and they explained that a little better and the information about hill start assist is incomplete and wrong.
The assist acts by holding the car for a second as per the manual, in comfort mode. In sport or manual, there is hill holder. the car will stay on hill holder 30 minutes if you need it to and the manual is mum about this.
Maybe this was a 2010 feature and they didn't bother to update.

Here's what's specific enough for me:
The body is shared, the controls are shared, it's a platform.
So if you expect a manual that only references the controls of your car and what Mercedes wants you to know about what's under the hood, keep waiting for that.

I think we have some wires crossed here or something. We seem to be on the same page and opposite pages simultaneously.
I think it was the "can you guys be more specific?" when really you were just asking the OP to be more specific about the info he was originally seeking.

Oh, ok you're right.
My plural is wrong, I mean to help the OP, not to include others in a way that questions their knowledge. Sorry about that.

The only way to get specific maintenance info from them is through their subscription service on parts and work instructions at a huge price. $40 US for 3 days.
