Locking nuts for studs
Hey all,
So I have studs from Racing Brake (http://www.racingbrake.com/RB-Wheel-...t-p/mb-802.htm). Love them, will never go back (though they surface of the nuts could be tougher).
That said, I'm about to go from stock wheels to non-stock wheels and would like to have locking nuts on there. I've done a host of Googling and not found ball open nuts that are locking (other than some for Ford and Chevy trucks). Anyone have a source or recommendation?
Thanks,
Tom

Yeah, open lock nuts are very tough to find. I eventually picked up some RAD open-ended locking nuts, but I don't use them (I have 12pt Ti lugs on now and they're practically theft-proof). Think they're cone seat though, very good locks and very expensive too. I'll try to look up where I got them when I get home because I know they had other options for ball seat in our specific stud thread pitch.
