Whistling sound with windows down?
Did a quick search and didn't find this, if there's a thread on it somewhere anyone can point me to it, thanks.
I get an annoying whistling sound when I drive with my windows down -- I can't tell if it's from the seatbelt mechanism or the side mirrors.
Anyone else getting this, and a solution?

did you change your wipers recently? I've found some brands do this...

^^ That's it. Not that I don't love my car, but man what a nuisance.
I first thought it was coming from the side mirror housing, but then figured it was the seat belt mechanism. Wondering if there's a way around it....

haha.
I haven't figured out where exactly, but I can make it disappear putting my hand up by my left shoulder. There must be a small hole that air is passing through causing the noise, just haven't found it.

^^ Ha, that's my excuse for why I'm swerving all over the road.
I've found the perfect window height to cut it off lol.
Maybe I'll go with the Texas solution to everything: duct tape.

Maybe its like that wind buffeting thing where you get that kind of oscillating sensation. Try popping up the sunroof and see if it goes away. That works with the oscillation, which is known as the "Helmholtz resonance" btw.

Happens with the sunroof or passenger window open, not buffeting which sometimes also happens. This is a distinct whistling that sound like it originates from behind my left shoulder.

I getcha, but what I meant was maybe a change to airflow conditions might alleviate that. So crack another window open an inch and see what happens.

^^ It's such a weird quirk. Now I'm back to wondering if it's the side mirrors....
Continues if the sunroof is open or closed. I'm going to run it by my dealership and see if they can do anything about it. If so, I'll post it --
