X-Pipe HP Gains W/Headers

X-Pipe HP Gains W/Headers
My current setup has MBH headers and midpipe with stock secondary cat, stock resonator and stock muffler. What kind of WHP gain will you normally see with headers + x-pipe vs. headers + stock x-pipe. Does anyone have an numbers regarding this modification?

Another thread about this really isn't needed. In fact I'd say it's unwanted. Good luck with your search.

The mid-section is also available in a shorter version with the X-pipe that deletes the secondary cats and bolts directly to the resonator.
High flow cats are also an option for the MBH mid-pipe as well as test pipes.
Here is the MBH offering for the C63:

Mort is correct.....I just installed MBH headers, mids, and xpipe. It bolted directly to my Remus exhaust right before the resonator, which is an OEM fit.

I only see on their site a midpipe and x-pipe, I don't see anything in regards to a shorter midpipe so that an x-pipe can also be incorporated.

LTHeaders delete the primary cats and mids join to/or delete the secondary cats depending on their purpose. It the pic above the mid pipes join to the pipes that delete the secondary cats. If you consider the four pipes together as mids then the first pair join to the secondary cats and the second pair delete the secondary cats with straight pipe.

If you look carefully at the picture it is actually 3 pipes. The first two are short mid pipes that joint the LTHs to the x-pipe. The x-pipe joins to the resonator.

So the midpipe can either be joined from the LTH to the stock resonator deleting the secondary cats or the other option being joined from LTH to short midpipes then to X-pipe which deletes secondary's and bolts to resonator? Sorry this is just confusing.

MHP or MBH system's mid pipes are designed to replace the secondary cats and join directly to the resonator either with straight pipe or x-pipe. Straight pipe is very loud and the x-pipe quiets the sound a little. You can get high flow cats in the mids as well as an option. If you want to keep the secondary cats you need to do a custom system to weld the secondary cats to the shorter (front) mid pipe as the size of the header mid pipe diameter and that of the secondary cats are different, the secondary cat pipe being smaller. You can also do a custom pipe from the LTHs directly to the secondary cats or all the way to the resonator.
I am running MBH LTHs to catted mids to x-pipe bolted directly to the resonator. I think this is the best layout using catted mids or uncatted mids, your choice.
The x-pipe will not make much HP but will quiet the loudness and smooth the sound a little. The system already has a small H-Pipe in the resonator to balance the pulses in the dual exhaust system.
