Question: Pre Facelift Xenons
Is there a definitive way to tell the difference between a prefacelift c63 being equipped with Xenons or Halogen?
I know halogen is more yellow, but Im going to be honest with you. I can't really tell the difference on this car. Mine doesn't seem pure white to me, but doesn't see yellow.

HID cars have the projectors. Halogen cars have reflectors. Also, if your turn signals on your tail lights are not LEDs, then you don't have the lighting package, meaning no HIDs.

You can easily tell if you just pop your hood and check the bulb.
Xenon bulbs look like this:
Halogens look like this:

Do you have the Datacard for your car. It will tell you if you have the lighting option and what other options your car has. If not ask Valvestud in one of the threads he monitors for a copy of the Datacard for your car. You will need to post the VIN.

EDIT:
So I'm retarded. I gave it a look over and must've missed it the first time. It literally says: BI-XENON HEADLAMPS FOR RIGHT-HAND TRAFFIC
So yea... I never claimed to be the brightest one on the forum. Just the prettiest
Thanks to everyone for chiming in to help me out. Great forum. Great people!

Glad you figured it out. But as an FYI, when you turn on xenons, the beam of light goes from down to up, whereas halogens just turn on, if that makes sense. It's pretty noticeable.

you guys are KILLING ME!!!!!!
like Chris said earlier, if you have projectors then you have HID...if you have reflector bowl then you have halogen....no looking at data card, no popping hood, no removing bulb, no looking for Danger High Voltage sticker......projector looks like a glass eyeball, reflector looks like a chrome bowl it really is THAT simple...
all W204 headlights have supplemental halogen HI-BEAMs so the inside bulb will be a reflector bowl no matter if your lo-beam is HID or Halogen

Dammit!!!!! I hate having to do this but right is right....W204's DID in fact offer a halogen projector as well as the HID projector SO with that being said the easiest way to tell WOULD be to pop the hood, take off the larger of the 2 headlight dust caps and see if you have a D1S bulb inside for HID.....damn all this newfound integrity ive been working on!!!!!
